baked kale chips

Kale, in case you don't know, is a powerful cabbage like vegetable that has become ever so trendy of late.

It's the new spinach. Just wait, you'll see.

I often find it hard to put this nutritious leafy vegetable to use.
Especially one that is flavorful and a joy to eat.

Until now.

Yeah, I was a little apprehensive prior to making these, worrying that they would be bland and completely tasteless- Was I ever wrong.

Kale Chips

1 bunch of kale
3 tablespoons olive oil
Sea Salt
Pepper

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Wash the kale thoroughly to remove any grit and pat with towels to remove the excess water.
Rip the leaves of the kale away from the stems and discard the stems.

Place on baking sheet for 10-12 minutes. Then serve.

I used balsamic vinegar along with the olive oil for an added kick.
Simply divine.
Salty. Crispy. Light.

Oh, and I suggest making more than you think you need as it cooks down quite a bit.
